As part of the public program for the exhibition Constellations and Drifts. Latin American Art from the FEMSA Collection, a series of activities will take place to reflect on management and curatorial practices. This conversation will explore different experiences related to the management of the FEMSA Collection, as well as the transformations and adaptations that have shaped its current model. Addressing the tasks of management aims to highlight the work that sustains artistic initiatives.

Art historian Ana Garduño focuses on public and private art collecting practices, 20th-century cultural policies, as well as museum systems and the history of artistic institutions. Based on her research and reflections on the development of art collections from the private sector, she will present a lecture on the relevance of the FEMSA Collection within the Latin American art ecosystem, on the eve of its 50th anniversary.
