This course offers an exploration of recent contemporary art from a critical and interdisciplinary perspective. It will invite participants to develop new ways of observing, interpreting, and engaging with artworks that go beyond traditional art history narratives.
Throughout the program, concepts from philosophy, cultural studies, decolonial thought, and contemporary feminisms will be addressed, with the purpose of understanding how current artistic practices question power structures, expand collective imaginaries, and make visible experiences, memories, and narratives that have historically remained on the margins.
Number of sessions: Four.
