Synopsis

Trapped in a marriage soured by infidelity, Riko is reunited with an old friend, Mr. Takaoka, who offers her friendship, love, and a strange escape: living a parallel life in her dreams.

Each night she transforms into another woman from the past: first a 17th-century courtesan, and then the servant of a medieval princess.

While experiencing desire and disillusionment in the past, Riko rethinks her life as a wife, mother, and lover in the 21st century and questions whether, after loving her husband and Mr. Takaoka, she is ready for her third great love.
