Synopsis

A dream, a library, a beloved woman, an exotic island, a jaguar. Victor dreams that he is the protagonist of a story that includes a love affair and a mystery. He meets Marguerite and begins a relationship with her that he has to end when he travels to Surabaya, on the island of Java. Upon returning to France, he rekindles the romance and finds himself cornered by a jaguar from the Indonesian island he left behind.

The author plays with genres and the reader’s expectations, seducing and manipulating them by leading them through enigmatic territories and posing many questions that may not have simple answers.
