Seminar. A collective work: memory, identity and culture through color

Enrique Lima, Jennifer Chirinos

Wednesday November 25, 2026
5:00 pm

Inspired by the exhibition Unauthorized Self-Portrait, by the artist Flavio Garciandía, this design seminar proposes to explore how cultural identity is built from memories, shared experiences and references from everyday life.

Through a participatory dynamic proposed by Grupo Berel, color becomes a language to express memories, evoke emotions, and represent different ways of living and interpreting Mexican culture.

As a result, participants will contribute to the creation of a collective work that will bring together their perspectives and experiences, becoming a meeting place between individual expression, shared memory, and cultural identity.

Activity within the framework of the exhibition Flavio Garciandía: Unauthorized Self-Portrait

Location: MARCO Auditorium.
