The content of the MARCO Museum’s educational program is based on collective thinking, that is, art functions as a tool with which to explore new forms of learning, not only individually, but also collaboratively. From this perspective, the Monterrey Museum of Contemporary Art has established itself as a space for public thought, where educators, artists, researchers, and diverse audiences come together not to receive closed content, but to try out new forms of learning, critical reflection, and knowledge production based on artistic experience. The exhibitions function as conceptual triggers that activate interdisciplinary dialogues around themes such as nature, territory, memory, the body, materiality, and the contemporary social condition.
