Elisa pasquel
A sculptor, ceramist and painter, she has worked as a teacher at the University of Monterrey UDEM, where she taught the wood carving sculpture workshop. From 2001 to 2005 and from 2011 to date, he collaborates in the Museum as a teacher, giving the Ceramic Clay Modeling workshop. His work has been presented in more than 10 individual exhibitions and more than 90 collective exhibitions inside and outside the country, as well as in the United States, Europe, and at the Centro de las Artes de El Salvador, he receives Honorable Mention at the First Engraving Encounter in Small Format, PRINT FOR THE WORLD, Madrid Spain. The X International Biennial of Painting of the Rufino Tamayo Museum was selected in 2002, among various other recognitions. In Nuevo León he has exhibited on multiple occasions, among which the Inaugural Exhibition of the Center of the Arts in Monterrey, Nuevo León stands out. He has participated in Biennials such as the Biennial of Art in Ceramics, being the recipient of the 2005 Nuevo León Prize First Place. Third Place, National Level in the 2011 National Ceramics Prize in Tlaquepaque Guadalajara, Mexico. Selected in the 5th. Biennial of Utilitarian Art in Ceramics, of the Franz Mayer Museum, Mexico City, among many other recognitions of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving, she was recently selected artist in the 2nd. New León State Art Award 2020 and participated in the exhibition Espacio Atemporal of the Centennial Museum in 2021.
