The Speculative Collage Club is a work commissioned from artist Ad Minoliti (Buenos Aires, 1980) in the context of the exhibition *Constellations and Drifts*. It is a site-specific project consisting of an installation that brings together sculptural elements and a pedagogical space focused on the participation of teenagers and adults. The installation is conceived as a metaphor for a circus tent and as a meeting place where collage is activated as an exercise in theoretical digestion, debate, and experimentation.
The circus metaphor introduces humor and tenderness into the pedagogical exercise, inviting joy, leisure, and play in contrast to the rigidity of traditional academic formats. The artist invited a group of artists, educators, activists, and cultural managers active in Monterrey to activate the club through themes related to gender theories, science fiction, fantasy, and the contemporary context.
This activity is part of the Public Program of the exhibition Constellations and Drifts: Latin American Art from the FEMSA Collection.
