In order to be an inclusive space, the CREARTE program was conceived in 2003 aimed at caring for people with social vulnerability, disability and the elderly, and providing them with a route to live new experiences through art.
PROGRAMS
Art therapy workshop with DIF Capullos
Through this workshop created 10 years ago, boys and girls, living in vulnerable situations receive attention, providing them with tools for their development and a positive approach through art, in the hands of specialists in art therapy and psychology.
Art therapy workshop with other institutions
Specialized workshops are given for audiences with some social vulnerability through the institutions that request it, in which the creative process of people is worked to explore feelings and internal conflicts for therapeutic purposes. Likewise, workshops are offered for teachers, psychotherapists, and the public interested in art as a means of expression and healing.
Inclusion volunteering
Every year, CREARTE receives adults with intellectual disabilities to be part of its guide staff for a period of three months, enhancing their social skills and thus supporting the institutions that are responsible for guiding them towards an independent life.
Guided tours
Guided tours of our exhibitions for groups with disabilities, the elderly and economic and social vulnerability that allow us to recognize the Museum as a sensitive, experiential and learning space. The visit is free and includes transportation and an art activity related to the exhibitions.
MARCOmóvil
Bus equipped as a didactic room and traveling exhibition that brings us closer to the most vulnerable communities in order to spread the recreational, recreational, educational and learning possibilities offered by MARCO and contemporary art.
