The practice of Chiachio & Giannone focuses on embroidery as a medium through which they explore art history and identity from a queer perspective. Working from a pictorial aesthetic, they develop medium- and large-scale textile works that revisit the dialectics between the wild and the domestic, exploring the possibilities of the body and its mythologies.
