MARCO X Tecate Pa’l Norte 2026

Museum mornings, festival afternoons [Mañanas de museo, tardes de festival]

Experience the roar of culture and music within a single ecosystem.

The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO) and the Tecate Pa’l Norte festival announce a strategic collaboration for their 2026 edition, with the aim of bringing contemporary art and music together in a comprehensive cultural experience for the city.

Under the concept [Mañanas de museo, tardes de festival] “Museum mornings, festival afternoons,” this alliance invites the thousands of national and international attendees who gather in Monterrey to explore the region’s artistic richness before enjoying their favorite artists on stage.

And because Monterrey is a metropolis where creativity coexists across all formats, this collaboration introduces an exclusive benefit for festival attendees:

During the official festival dates, anyone who presents their Tecate Pa’l Norte 2026 ticket at MARCO’s box office will receive a 50% discount on museum admission. This initiative encourages new audiences to discover a venue that stands as a benchmark for art in Latin America, currently celebrating 35 years of history.

At MARCO, visitors can experience classical, modern, and contemporary art, featuring works by Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington, Dr. Atl, Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, José Clemente Orozco, Julio Galán, and María Izquierdo, among others, brought together in the exhibition “Constellations and Drifts: Latin American Art from the FEMSA Collection,” celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of the most important collections in Latin America.

Visitors can also explore the exhibition “Teresa Margolles: How Do We Get Out?”, the first career survey in the Americas dedicated to Teresa Margolles, one of today’s most prominent Mexican artists, whose work examines the human consequences of violence and impunity affecting communities across different countries, particularly in Mexico.

By joining forces, MARCO and Tecate Pa’l Norte reinforce the idea that culture in Monterrey is experienced across different formats, spaces, and moments, consolidating the city as a vital meeting point for music, art, and contemporary creativity.

This alliance will leverage the festival’s global visibility to invite both national and international visitors to discover the richness of the museum during their stay, strengthening Nuevo León’s cultural ecosystem and demonstrating that the dialogue between art and music is a driving force behind the identity of a constantly evolving metropolis.
