1934 Finished his studies in architecture at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, France.

1946 Founding Member of the Colegio Nacional de Arquitectos de México.

1940-50 Member of the Distrito Federal (Mexico City) Planning Committee.

1956 Founding Member of the Patronato del Museo de San Carlos, Mexico City.

1959-80 President of Editorial de Arquitectura, S. A.

1964 Honorary Member of the United States American Institute of Architects.

1967 Honorary Member of the Colegio de Arquitectos of Peru.

1978 Emeritus Academic Fellow of the Sociedad de Arquitectos Mexicanos.

1978-80 President of the Council of Honor of the Colegio de Arquitectos de México and of the Sociedad de Arquitectos Mexicanos.

1983 Full Academic Member of the Academia de Artes.

1993 Passed away in Mexico City on 23 February.
