A great retrospective exhibit of this French lens artist, configured using his private collection as the starting point of a selection made personally by Henri Cartier-Bresson, one of the best known photographers of the century. The show included five decades of shots taken while traveling through Greece , Turkey , England , Germany , Canada , Switzerland and Spain . Also included is a series of photos taken during his visits to Mexico in1934 and 1964. Although in his professional life Cartier-Bresson photographed war scenes and prominent artists such as Jean Paul Sarte, Alberto Giacometti, Erza Pound, and Henri Matisse, in the course of his voyages he also captured with his camera the everyday life of common people.
