CURATOR AND MUSEOGRAPHER: Richard Marshall.

This grand exhibition spanned 50 years of work by Louise Bourgeois ( Paris , 1911). 70 sculptures and 6 oil paintings were assembled so that MARCO could introduce and bring to Latin America this prolific and talented artist.

The evolution of Bourgeois's art begins from the memories, emotions and impressions of her childhood, her anxiety and her psychological pain.

The importance of this naturalized American is based on the fact that her work has foreseen, anticipated and transcended phases and periods of modern art like European modernism, abstract expressionism, minimalism, post-minimalism, neo-expressionism and installation.
