CURATOR AND MUSEOGRAPHER: Ivo Mesquita

Daniel Senise, (Rio de Janeiro, 1955) defines himself as a “man of objects that do not exist”, maybe because his art questions, projects and freezes time and his images become impenetrable to meaning. Conscious of the futility of his expressions, Senise and his icons (the swan, the heart, the cross, the column, the nails, the mother, and the thorns) live in a constant confrontation to build a surface, to restore the language and put the meanings in order.
