A few months after the Bicentennial of the Independence of Mexico and the Centennial of the Revolution, The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO) presents a selection of Mexican art from renowned artists as Julio Galán, Rodolfo Morales, Rafael Cauduro, Nahum B. Medrez Zenil and Miriam, among others of equal importance.

The 39 works from the Collection framework is characterized by allowing the viewer to identify with Mexico and, sometimes, open a window to the world. Some were influenced by Mexican School, and others by avant-garde tendency known as spontaneous rupture.
