This retrospective exhibition of Alfonso Michel (Colima, 1897) was made in coordination with the Modern Art Museum in Mexico City and consisted of 72 of the 100 works that make up the pictorial oeuvre of this Mexican artist. Michel painted little but left a quality collection that includes incredibly dazzling examples, as stated by Antonio Espinoza in the essay he wrote for the catalogue.
