Born in Mexico City in 1974, Héctor Zamora is a contemporary artist who stands out for his work in interventions in public spaces and in urban works of large format with social criticism. He lived from 2007 to 2016 in São Paulo, Brazil and currently lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.

His work has been recognized by several organizations such as the BBVA Bancomer Foundation and The Pollock-Kramer Foundation. Also, it was meritorious of the Prize Arco Community of Madrid for Young Artists, among many others. .
